It really did make an improvement over the bead front sight. I love the simi-clear plastic insert. It helped to line the inside of the opening with a sharpie. One is a new model H001TLB which is the 24 inch long octagonal barrel 22 and the other is an older model 17 HMR with a 20 inch octagonal barrel.
