Review: Dual Heater KBS is a Total Winner! Outstanding Customer Service! - This is my second bread maker and I love this dual heater KBS model. I love to bake bread but tire of the kneading, proofing, kneading, waiting, and so on, that goes with it. Bread makers give me the same joy while putting more bread on the table consistently for my family. I still make bread by hand for special occasions or special types of bread, but the bulk of what we eat comes from this well-made and very serviceable machine. The dual heater design is a huge improvement over my old bread maker. The loaves come out perfectly baked througout, with just the right amount of browning to the crust. This is an excellent machine. The variety of settings is important, as it allows you to use the machine for many styles of bread and other purposes, such as preparing the dough alone or making yogurt (though I haven't tried that yet). I usually make the 1kilo loaf, but sometimes choose a smaller loaf size when I want to experiment with a recipe. Being able to choose from 3 loaf sizes and 3 color or browning options is great. Though the KBS Premium is a bit loud, especially when it activates the seed/fruit basket, it makes a wonderful loaf. I typically add chia pudding to the batter and chopped dates and various seeds when I make a light whole wheat loaf. Delicious! After almost a year and a half of regular use, the motor of the bread maker stopped working. I had extended the warranty an additional year by registering with KBS and they responded right a way to my support question. At their request, I recorded a short video of the operation of the machine, with and without the basket, and sent it to them. They responded promptly to inform me that a new bread maker was being shipped to me. I am overjoyed as I love this machine. I give them 5 stars for the quality of the product alone, despite the problem I encountered, and another 5 stars for top notch service.

**Q: Is this kbs bread maker really worth buying?**
A: Before I bought this kbs bread maker, I compared many bread machines, such as Hamilton Beach, Zojirushi, Cuisinart, Oster, but they are either too expensive or outdated appearance and not suitable for my kitchen. In the end, I chose the KBS bread machine. In addition to preparing ingredients, it can really do anything, and it also comes with recipes and recipe tables. Even if it is the first time to make bread, it will be very successful. Once you have tried to make bread 4-5 times, everything will be easy in the future. Then you can relax for 3 hours and let the machine do all the work.

**Q: Does this make pizza dough?**
A: Yes. There are "raw dough" and "leaven dough" on the menu. We also give away the recipe, you just need to follow our pizza dough recipe and leave the rest to our KBS bread maker, which will make the perfect pizza dough for you.

**Q: Is the inside ceramic pan just that or does it have a non-stick coating?**
A: Dear customer, our bread pan contains both ceramic and non-stick coating.
You can see from the video that after the baked bread is taken out of the bread pan, there is almost no residue in the bread bucket, and it is as clean as new.

**Q: How could I take off the stirring rob after each use? It’s so hard to take it off!**
A: There may be flour left in your stir bar, which is not easy to remove. Please take it after soaking in water for several hours. I recommend coating the inside of the stir bar with cooking oil before each use.

ANOTHER UPDATE So the seller got a hold of me, sent me all the PDFs and even a replacement pan because mine was chipped. I now know how to use all the features and have made so great rolls, breads, pasta, and more! I have to admit I like the King Arthur recipes the best. I weigh everything because I get consistent quality that way. Everyone loves the fresh products and there just isn’t any real work to this, anybody’s can set the pan on a scale dump and weigh each ingredient in the pan and then press 12 and let the machine do all the work! When it beeps you take it and shape it any way you want and bake! It’s never bad and always perfect! I’m changing my stars from 4 to 5! UPDATE: I’ve made several loaves now and even hamburger buns in it today so I’m raising the rating from 3 to 4 stars. It is still performing well and using a scale and weighing out the ingredients makes a perfect loaf and perfect bread products! The simplicity of taking the bread pan, setting it on the scale then adding each ingredient (zeroing/rare after each), then putting it in the machine and forgetting about it is sooo easy! No worrying about the yeast, water temp, sugar mixing to ferment it; just dump and let the machine do the work...and a wonderful product comes out! We’ll see how it works in a few more months. I do highly recommend this for anyone that loves to make things from scratch! I recently tossed all the ingredients in and made my own pasta and pizza dough with it; perfect no work kneading it does it all! ORIGINAL —> So this machine is good but I’m not convinced it’s great yet because I’ve only made one loaf of bread! The “recipes” well it is like 9 that basically say the same ingredients but you just press another button I guess. I made a 1.5 lb multigrain loaf with medium it was heavy not your super market fluff of air and had an excellent brown top, I’d say perfect browning. The loaf itself was an odd shape and since there’s really no instructions on the operation of the machine I’m not sure if or when I can reach in and reshape the dough. I tried contacting the maker for the recipe pdf they promised but nobody responds. Stuff from China, ugh! Why don’t they just put the pdf on their website and let us download it! If anybody want to put it on Google docs and share it, I’d appreciate it. I’m really not sure what the difference is in the settings nor if or when the little shoot opens. Not sure how I make like a cinnamon raisin nut bread with this machine. Can I pull the dough out after it mixes then fold in the cinnamon? No instructions for this machine. Not sure what bread book would help me learn to use this machine either! MACHINE QUALITY: so overall it’s okay. I’m a bit concerned with the lid as it’s flimsy and rubs against the side of the control panel which means over time it will scratch the finish off. The container the bread is made in is a sort of square shape and makes an odd shaped loaf. I know their pictures show round loaves, French bread baguettes and even rolls so do they have other pans that insert in or how are people making those? Too much missing information! Time will tell if I figure it out.
