Tajima IR101S-0 INK RITE Auto rewind ink snap line is a unique ink-based snap-line marking tool makes a thin, precise easy-to-follow line. Auto rewinds up to 25 ft. Sure-grip elastomer-wrapped end hook also has an eyelet to attach to a nail or stud. User-serviceable, with instructions and tool to facilitate snap-line replacement. Use Tajma's QUICK DRY INK for this unit.

Review: Very sharp Line - Provides a very sharp line, however it splatters a little, has WET ink which gets on your fingers and is very hard to pick up to snap due to the line being so small. None of these is a show stopper. I have used it for about a week cutting plywood and it worked great. Above all, the auto retract feature is the best part. makes one hand rewind a snap. Great product. I would buy it again and may need a second one to keep in my truck.
Review: Very fine line, which I love - I'm a union tilesetter who does mostly residential remodel work. These are the only lines I will use. Very fine line, which I love. Once dry the line is tough and I don't have to use line freeze. Shows up on plastic mats like ditra or stratamat. The only annoying part is it takes a while for the line to open up enough to hold enough ink to make a good line. Takes about three weeks of daily use for them to get where I like them. Not a big deal though, they last me an average of 4 years before I replace them. Never had to replace the line, though one of my older ones is finally starting to fray.

**Q: is their ink included with the line or do I have to buy that separately?**
A: U have to buy the ink

**Q: how long is the line without auto rewin**
A: I just checked and it went out about 22 feet.  I didn't try to force it any farther even though it says there is 25 feet of line in it.  I rewinds well at 22 feet.  It snaps a real sharp thin line.  I assumed it was for in shop use due to the crisp line.  If you used it for snapping a floor layout in construction, I don't think it would work well.  It would be too thin, too short and hard to see.  Hope this helps.

**Q: is this meant for snapping lines in wet weather?**
A: It barely shows up in dry weather,. The concept seemed cool , but the ink dries to fast to snap to ground, line is so thin I can hardly grab onto it. Not sure about wet weather but I went back to my old chalk line...

It sucks, the line it marks is extremely thin and hard to see and not only that it splatters ink everywhere. If it would have been cheaper maybe it would have be worth it.
