Review: Highly Satisfied. - I didn't include a photo as I painted mine and didn't want to confuse anyone with the color. I bought chrome and spray painted it rubbed oil bronze (because I am a cheapskate and it saved me a few bucks). So yes, you can paint them whatever color you want with no prep (sanding). I just used my trusty Rust-Oleum and taped off the plastic lampshade so I wouldn't get it on there. I couldn't believe how lightweight these are! I didn't even need the anchors included (although much appreciated). It comes with two settings (one is brighter and one is a bit dimmer) and it is very easy to install. I had this idea a long time ago (battery operated sconces), but didn't know how to execute it. I love houses with built-in sconces, but am a novice when it comes to electric, so I never attempted to install the actual electric-powered ones. Now I don't have to! I will be purchasing more because the quality and price can't be beat.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Provides lighting......

Incredibly cheaply made. They do look nice though and do provide needed lighting in room without wiring. The battery compartment slots are oversized for the AAA batteries and that allows the batteries to slant every which way making it difficult to keep in place and cutting the light off. After trying various ways of trying to align batteries and keep them aligned long enough to hang the lamp on the wall I ended up taping the batteries in place. The battery cover plate was very difficult to remove and replace on one of the lamps. Lamps are very lightweight so rather than screw around trying to line up holes to hang the lamp I used double sided foam tape on backplate and pressed against the wall. Worked great. They’ll do until remodel is complete. Would have given higher rating if the batteries would stay in place.
