At 150 grams its quite a bit heavier than the ultralightweight 609 and that extra mass further enhances acoustic performance. Its also got a lifetime warranty. That being said stethoscopes are a truly personal choice so we encourage you to try a few models and pick the best one you can afford. For a general stethoscope it is worth 5 times what you pay compared to any Littmann, which I replaced it with (Cardiology III).
