He played with the RC chassis all Christmas day. The remote requires 2 AA batteries, not included, and the chassis is rechargeable with a USB cord. He had so much fun just racing the chassis around. He assembled the body later, at home. He's a LEGO builder and so found this a very doable project, by himself.
