Review: High Quality - Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Starting the tape was a challenge until I watched a video from the company. Basically just carefully pull the tape and it will separate from the backing. No need to pick off the backing as shown in some videos on line.

**Q: does the tape hold in humid weather?**
A: I live in the American south which is considered high humidity. I have had no problem with the paper, including high use paperbacks.

**Q: Is this product the hinging tape or the mending tape. They show the photo of the mending tape, but I need the hinging tape.**
A: We use P-90 for repair and reinforcement of 50+ year old scrapbook pages as it resists tearing.  Looks strange but makes the pages useable for research and copying.  It also works for lightweight hinges for photos.  P tears easily and useful for repairs over type or pictures in place of non archival clear tapes that degrade with age.  P-90 is not a mending tape for hard cover book reattachment, use a single stitch binder tape for that.

**Q: Is this tape double sided?**
A: No, this book repair tape is single sided

**Q: Hi, I can't figure out how to remove the backing form the tape.  I've spent a half hour trying.  Any suggestions?? It really shouldn't be this hard**

This mounting tape works as advertised. Mounting photos is snap. Besides being archival, which a minimum requirement, the best characteristic of this mounting tape it's the packaging: you just pull out the tape and the backing peels off automatically then you year down against the toothed edge to cut. No scissors required, no fumbling to get the peeling started. Great design!
