I have an 88 Chevy pick up and the high side is different than the later ones this fix my problem Review: Worked for 1987 Nissan D21 - Used this to retrofit some R134 fittings on an old 1987 Nissan D21 hardbody pickup. Had exactly the pieces I needed and a couple left over as well. Your 240 likely has the “Kiki” compressor which its high side fitting interferes with the adapter in this kit.
