Its really easy to use and I premixed it in short batches 1 tb at a time with water and stored it in the fridge. I fed with a pipette...it was very easy and I have a lot of product left for my next group of shrimp fry (I already have a yellow shrimp with eggs again). I started feeding when I noticed that the shrimp with eggs no longer had eggs (the shrimp fry are so tiny at this point its near impossible to see them.) For a couple of weeks I wasn't even sure that any of the eggs were viable or had survived, but I continued to add a small amount of first bites to the tank everyday. Then one day I spotted a juvenile and soon after I observed 15 + tiny fry, I was so excited and I have no doubt that this product helped nourish them during that time. I am hoping to get bamboo shrimp at some point and this will no doubt be a good supplement for them, as well. The picture is a couple of shrimp fry (super tiny yellow reddish dots on the rock next to an amano shrimp). Review: Good for first/emergency food - Always reliable and works for unexpected spawns.
