I definitely recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not an official part, but does the job well (PLEASE READ IF USING A HACKED CONSOLE) *by J***E on November 17, 2023* I got this after buying a new hard drive for my original/fat Xbox 360. One thing I will say off the bat is this is a third-party transfer cable. It appears exactly as it does in the product photos, but be careful because the box and instruction manual are very close to the original. Notice that it never says "Xbox" and the logo is absent. Official Microsoft parts will always say "Xbox" and not just "Xb" (I put an official Microsoft hard drive next to this cable for reference in the third picture). I personally don't take issue with this, but I think the packaging is a bit deceptive and it should be clearer that this is not an official Microsoft part.With all of that said, it works perfectly for what I needed it for. I needed to transfer files from one fat hard drive to another, and it works great. All you need to do is plug it into your USB port, place your old hard drive somewhere flat, and connect the big rectangle part to your hard drive. It needs to be in a specific orientation to fully fit; I have attached a photo of it connected to my own Xbox for reference. When you boot up the console, it will automatically detect the transfer cable and give you the option to transfer. This is much faster than transferring your data via USB.Some other important pointers:1) The data on whichever drive you transfer from will be erased, so be sure to back it up first if you want to keep it somewhere other than your new hard drive.2) The Xbox will NOT transfer system files, meaning you may have to update your console again or recalibrate your Kinect. If you have a hacked console, it will also not transfer your setup files.
