Water-based (so good on skin) and biodegradable. I use these for work as an artist. I am happy with them. Yes they are more fragile but if I am careful when taking the wipes out it is fine. I wouldn’t say this is a bad thing because it makes the biodegradable thing more believable. They are moist and after going through a pack or two already they do keep their moisture until the end.
