I lost my last one and purchased this as a replacement. the sound quality is great. It makes it easy to make a wide range of smooth sounding calls. I love the option to use with or without the rubber end. I use it without when calling to elk that are a little further out or there is background noise. I used it two weeks ago to call an elk that was across a noisy creek on a windy day. I also used it with the tone converter for some very close range calling. I kept six cows within fifty yards for almost half an hour with it.
