Review: Saved the couch - Ide like to start off by saying I like to buy stuff on desertcart just as much as the next guy. When I am looking for something on desertcart I like to read reviews, both good and bad in an effort to weed out garbage from decent products that are worth purchasing. I aim to provide honest feedback to help the next consumer do the same. I have a zoo I like to say, and this consists of 3 dogs of various age and size as well as 4 cats. We Don't ever keep our furniture in great condition due to claws and accidents. My 10 month old shihpoo is either intentionally peeing on my couch or just not wanting to tell us he has to go anymore. After a few accidents and trying to wash covers we decided we had to just purchase a replacement. Local thruft had a set half price we jumped on them. Now we have to protect them and turned to desertcart to find a solution to save them from certain death. After looking at many products of various prices I decided on this product, it arrived this morning. It is a taupe green although it looks more grey in the picture. Packaged in a clear zippered bag. Upon opening the material feels soft and the reverse has sticky paws to help prevent slipping. Overall it's not very thick but I'm not sure that's necessary unless your dog had really long thick nails, I imagine it could wear it out quicker. Fit is good it's got a smidge of excess to tuck into the crevice between the back and seat and armrest. The back overlarps behind the couch and utilezes a bungee type strap on each side for additional stability. Appearance is decent, definitely not luxurious, but they use a light quilted type stitch that gives it a nice touch. I put it on this morning and it seems to have stayed in place with only minor movement. My animals so far have enjoyed the cover and as expected my "Poopie" decided to christen it, my hubby was able to clean it up easily when he got home.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Slips, Not completely Waterproof, but Perfect for Sensitive Skin

Pro: -Very soft. I have very sensitive skin, and this material was soft and gentle enough for me to lay on with bare skin -comfortable--The sew pattern reminds me of a comforter -great army green color (it matches the couch and living room perfectly!) Con: -Slips. The couch gets much traffic every day. The cover needs to be readjusted 1-2 times a week -It's really warm in 80 degree weather (w/o AC) but it's great in colder months -Not completely waterproof. I would say it's "water resistant" I tested spots, and liquid doesn't soak immediately, but if you leave it long enough it starts to soak in the fabric. If it's a quick spill, the liquid rolls off immediately This couch cover doesn't fulfill what it advertises (non-slip, waterproof) but due to my sensitive skin, and long search to find the correct shade of green, I'm overall pleased and would buy another one if I had another couch.
