Given it would go to a phone you probably do not need to care about impedance or any of that stuff. There may be a more dedicated solution to your needs though. However if you wanted a 5GHz one for less interference then this one may be worth a try. You will of course need adapter to 2.5mm TRS. Device comes with 3.5mm TRS adapter cables. **Q: Can it work with any subwoofer/ receiver??** A: Yes, as long as your receiver has a subwoofer coax output. You don’t need to use both channels either. I have it connected to a Denon AVR-X4400H and Polk PSW108 subwoofer and it works great. I haven’t tried to match frequency range but whatever this device transmits is clearly enough for the low end. Best of all, microwave doesn’t interfere with it! **Q: Can you use multiple transmitters in a single room or will they interfere with each other?** A: Hello, we tested 2 sets of WSA-5TRs, connect two transmitters to different audio sound source devices (one thru laptop, other one thru AV amplifier) in a single room, and connect two wireless audio receivers to different speakers system (one thru powered speaker, and other thru amplifier + passive speakers), they works perfectly and played individual music and not interfere with each other. But please keep in mind that this product can do the multi-zone audio function (one transmitter to maximum four receivers to play same music at the same time), so make sure you don't re-pairing from one transmitter to two receivers at the same time, otherwise they won't work individually, those two receivers will play same music source from the single transmitter. **Q: what is the latency spec from audio in at the transmitter to the audio out at the receiver? how many ms in worst cases?** A: I believe this is question #2 in the list of questions on the product page, but in case it shows you something different than it shows me, I'll copy & paste here for you: "Currently the audio latency of the 5.8G wireless module on this product is less than 5ms (analog to analog) within 100 feet distance, as no noticeable delay.
