## Description

Fingersafe® is a door hinge guard that prevents fingers from being pinched, crushed or AMPUTATED at the hinged end of doors. Each year it is estimated there are nearly 300,000 door-related finger injuries world wide. Many include serious injuries such as broken bones and amputation. Fingersafe® is Underwriter's Laboratory (UL) approved with a fire rating of four hours. It can be installed on any fire door and has been tested and complies with the following standards: NFPA 252, UL 10B, UL 10C, ASTM E-152, CAN4 S-104, and UBC7-2 (1997). Fingersafe® was awarded a United States Government contract and is the recommended door safety product for US Government and Military child care facilities. Applications for Fingersafe® Door Hinge Guards include schools, youth centers, fast food restaurants, hospitals, ships, factories, universities and churches. 

The Fingersafe® MK1A covers the Push-side of the door. The side of the door where you see the screw-plate of the hinge as the door opens up.

The MK1B, covers the Pull-side of the door or where you can see the hinge pin exposed when the door is closed. It keeps fingers out of the door, so when it closes, no more crushed fingers!
