## Description

The MEPRO MicroRDS Kit is the perfect solution to attach Red Dot sights to Optics Ready pistols — providing excellent backup sights solution — without milling or drilling the pistols' slide. Technological advances in design and manufacturing allows the patented quick detach (QD) Kit to utilize the existing rear dovetail slot to mount the adaptor which holds the MEPRO microRDS. Existing brand red- dot optics can be mounted on the adaptor as well. It is the only mounting solution to have quick mount and dismount without having to re-zero the pistol. Now every pistol is Optics Ready without having to drill and tap the slide or barrel. The adaptor mounts directly to a MEPRO Tru-Dot™, self-illuminated sight which also functions as a back-up sight should the shooter want to remove the red dot optic. It can be placed back on the gun without having to re-zero the sight. The MEPRO MicroRDS will fit Optics Ready pistols, utilizing a special adapter plate which allows you to mount the sight with the QD adapter. It is also available with a standard Picatinny adapter, to connect the sight to rifles and shotguns, as a primary or back-up sight.

Review: Received broken - Received fast, but it must have been a return. Took it to a gunsmith to get the sights installed. With everything being so backed up, it took a month to receive with the sights installed. I go to the range and install the red dot to zero. It turns on, but when the dot gets to the center of the glass it cuts out making it impossible to zero or even work.
Review: Horrible customer service! - I own multiple products from meprolight, and this is by far the worst. The dot doesn’t show up in the lower half of the optic, and their customer service still hasn’t repaired or replaced it after 2 weeks. Save your money and purchase something else.

**Q: Will this fit a Glock 17 Gen 4?**
A: Yes

**Q: Is this rds comparable for h&k usp 9mil compact**
A: No

**Q: does this fit my H&K VP9 and do i need a adapter plate?**
A: Yes it will fit your VP9 and no adapter plate is needed as long as you get the kit with the rear sight. 
You will need to have the factory rear sight pressed out, the sight that comes with the kit will slide in. Make sure you use blue locktite on the set screw.

**Q: Will this particular unit/kit work with the iwi masada?**
A: No the Masada has a different front sight than a Glock. Both of the Masada's sights are dove tale slide in sights. But the Unit its self will work on the optic ready Masada. IWI owns Meprolight so get the Glock one and you will have night sights for your Glock and a RMR for your Masada.
