But I did buy some some super absorbent gel liners whereby I had to use two each time. Gets a bit expensive and I’m not sure good for the environment, so I now use some paper with wood pellets that degrade when wet and absorb. I can put both in my compost bin. The lowered front entry gap 4.75" H 8.5" W approx. Thats where litter spills at times. Measurements of the side of the tray, straight up from the floor, is 8 inches, so even with a decent amount of litter in, which my cat likes best, the sides are of a good enough height to keep all the litter in.
