If not, what product do I need for this?** A: I cleaned light rust with a little paint thinner and then sprayed this primer on a prep gun motor. Then used black rustoleom paint over primer. And its been two years and the motor is still in good shape. **Q: Is this safe for rabbits?** A: I would not spray it on rabbits. What I like about this 7569838 product is the large size and the comfortable spray nozzle. Note: a lot of paint will come out fast -- but if you're properly set up that's a good thing. Coverage is luxurious; I wish all paint went on this well.
