One light worked, and one did not. I contacted the seller, and they shipped me a new one free of charge. Both lights now work great and put off a good amount of light. They have survived 2 summers so far, I store them in a shed in the winter since they are plastic, and winters in the northeast can be brutal on outdoor decor. Review: Great price, but average quality - The lights are nice looking, and you have the option for hanging them coach style, or fixing them to a post like typical garden lights. The post is steel, but the lantern is a hard, brittle plastic. The threads on all of the lanterns we purchased were covered in a little plastic, so threading the screws was a bit difficult. I actually broke the plastic tip off two of the screws trying to hand tighten them. As far as performance, they seem to work fine. They are not too bright, and the solar batteries seem to hold for a couple of hours into the evening, even on cloudy days. I really like the look of them, and if bought in packs of 6 or 12 on desertcart, they are really cost effective.
