Review: Great product - Great product, was a little unsure but read the reviews and bought it. Got my stuck injector out super quick with ease. Very weighty and feels well made would recommend
Review: The Physics-Based Divorce Petition – A Review for the Desperate - If you are reading this, I know exactly where you are. You’re standing over an engine bay, your knuckles are bleeding, your tea is stone cold, and you’ve just realised that a 7mm piece of German engineering has effectively ended your weekend. You’ve got the “Black Death” carbon buildup on a 20-year-old Range Rover, an Audi A3 that’s been driven like it was stolen, and a waterlogged Hilux that looks like it was salvaged from the bottom of the North Sea. You’ve tried prying. You’ve tried "the power of prayer." You’ve even tried talking to the injectors in a soothing voice. Now, it’s time for the heavy metal. The Tool: The Weight of My Regrets: This slide hammer is essentially a massive, sliding chunk of "I-should-have-been-a-dentist" steel. It’s heavy. If you drop it on your foot, you aren't going to work on Monday. If you swing it with enough rhythmic rage, you will develop the physique of a Victorian dockworker on one arm only. The Adaptors: They claim to fit everything, and they do. In reality, they fit well enough to hold on for dear life while you attempt to rip the soul out of the cylinder head. On the Audi A3, it threaded in with a precision that was almost suspicious. On the Hilux, which was 40% silt by volume, it held firm while I performed what can only be described as a mechanical exorcism. The Structural Integrity: Unlike my last relationship, this tool actually handles pressure. I half-expected the threads to turn into glitter the moment they met the Range Rover’s seized injectors (which were essentially welded in by two decades of neglect and oil leaks), but they held. The Three Stages of Extraction Denial: You thread the tool on and give it a gentle clack. Nothing happens. You think, "Maybe I'll just soak it in more PlusGas." Anger: You start slamming the slide weight like you’re trying to ring a bell at a Victorian fairground. This is where the neighbours start peering through the curtains and considering a noise complaint. The Miracle: POP. That glorious, triumphant sound of metal-on-metal separation. It’s the sound of £800 in labour costs disappearing from your garage's quote and staying in your pocket for a proper holiday. Factual Observations for the Lads Knuckle Management: If you don't wear gloves, the slide hammer will find your skin. It is hungry for DNA. It will pinch you, and you will cry in front of your apprentice. The Hilux Factor: This tool is the only thing that worked on a Toyota that had been submerged long enough to have its own resident crab. The slide hammer didn't care about the rust; it only cared about victory. The Presentation: It arrives in a red vacuum-moulded plastic case. It’s the exact shade of "Warning: Bad Decisions Ahead" red. The plastic is thin enough that the heavy steel tools inside treat it like a suggestion rather than a container. One drop and the case will shatter like a cheap Christmas bauble, but the steel inside is the mechanical equivalent of a bouncer, it’s not there to be pretty, it’s there to move things that don’t want to be moved. The Verdict Is it subtle? No. Is it sophisticated? Absolutely not. It’s a heavy weight on a stick designed to solve problems through pure, unadulterated violence. But when you’re staring at a 20-year-old Range Rover that’s trying to bankrupt you, this tool is the only friend you’ve got. Pros: Cheaper than therapy, Doubles as a home defence weapon. Actually works on "impossible" seized injectors. Cons: Will make you sweat like a politician at a lie detector test. Makes a noise that can be heard three postcodes away. If you want to win the war against carbon buildup, buy this. If you want to keep your dignity and clean fingernails, go buy a bicycle. Sorted.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this fit a mondeo mk 4 injector**
A: Yes

**Q: I need a set to extract an injectore on a xsara picasso 1.6HDi 2005 -Will any of the kits do this please ?**
A: This should fit most injectors of that era, just be warned that once you remove the head of the injector (the big 24/27mm nut with the electrical connection on it) you are committed to the job as the calibration will be lost as soon as its disturbed. from my own experience, get the injector rotating first with plenty of rust penetrant before you go at it with this tool, also keep checking the connection between slide hammer and injector is tight , if not the threads of the tool will strip

**Q: will this fit vauxhall vivaro?**
A: It lists the type of injectors it fits I got it for Bosch which it listed and it did fit mine on a Audi so if your injectors are listed I’ve no reason to believe it won’t sorry can’t be more helpful.

**Q: Will this set for bmw x1 2.0 diesel**
A: No

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you have a stuck injector, just get this and problem solved!
*by D***B on 30 April 2025*

I recently bought a car at auction (which is always a gamble) and later when I was giving it a good once over at home, I found that all the diesel injectors seals were leaking, together with a blown rocker cover gasket, leaving oil all over the engine. No problem, I can fix all that.....except one injector simply would not budge as I tried to remove it to change the rocker cover gasket, no matter what I tried. It was fused to the rocker cover/injection port. So I ordered this kit and while waiting for it, the seller sent me detailed instructions on how to use it (very nice of them but the kit is very straightforward and easy to assemble anyway). So it arrived yesterday evening, I put it together and connected it to the stuck injector. One pull on the slide hammer and the injector moved at last, two pulls and it came halfway out, three pulls and it was three quarters out, four pulls and ........ well I could have pulled it out by hand after the third pull but I wasn't going to take the credit away from this kit for freeing the injector!......out it came, with massive carbon build up all over it. If, like me, you are stumped with a stuck injector, you need this kit. It's now become an immediate favourite tool of mine and I know I'll have no further problems with stuck injectors. Great value, well made and worth every penny. Just buy it.
