Restoring my gas grill was a lot cheaper than buying one of the same quality and same features and after rebuilding it or refurbishing it, I realized nothing sparking. I then realized that I need a new one of these so I purchased it here from Amazon and let me tell you something, this thing works amazing as a matter of fact, I actually tested it out and shocked my fingers so I know for a fact it is very powerful with just one AA battery. It does not take long to ignite my burners and I used my existing wire connections which were not corroded at all and worked wonderfully. I did not have to buy any extra wires for this but some may have to depending on the condition of your wires. Part received only had 5 outlet connections, but works great with the integral switch that is on this replacement igniter. For the money, I think this is a great replacement. Sparks all burners without having to adjust their spark gap (which is about 2.5-3mm. Very happy to not need a lighter or match stick anymore.
