I didn't have to take the wheels off for the fronts, but had some slight problems with the rears where wheel removal was necessary. The clips did not sit properly so my first attempt resulted in rotor clearance problems. After some manipulation and slight bending of the clip i was able to fasten perfectly. Tip: use a feeler gauge to check clearance as the instruction states, and even leave the gauge with a higher thickness inserted while tightening to hold the clip in place and avoid slippage.
