Review: Hearty chunks of real vegetables in a tasty broth - The only thing better than Progresso’s Vegetable classic soup, is Grandma’s homemade…an all day affair to create and prepare. If your time is as valuable as mine, save yourself and go for the Next Best Thing. The taste is truly spectacular, no puny little cubes of something that once may have been a vegetable. Progressive uses REAL vegetables, in big spoonfuls. The broth itself tastes sort of like a tomato/beef base. It is a little bit on the salty side, but not so much that it overpowers the broth. I actually LOVE salt, I typically add it to each and every meal but I don’t need to with Progresso. (If salt IS a concern, Progresso also has a large line of low-sodium varieties available). I know that some folks have had issues with soup cans arriving damaged and dented, however this has not been my experience- my ordered cans have been “all good”.
