**Q: What's the difference between this product and sem self-etching primer?**
A: The high build primer is used under the top coat, to fill any scratches or minor imperfections while finish sanding, and self-etching is used only on bare metal, under any body filler, or other primer.

**Q: Does this stick to silicone?**
A: NOTHING sticks to silicone...or...nylon.

**Q: How well will this adhere to existing finishes?  I have some bare metal and some areas of existing paint and other primer.**
A: As long as you sand the paint and medal with at least 220 grit sand paper fine. I have been using it on fiberglass/paint. It will show you the high spots and lows. You could also use a contrast material to make sanding easier to get your smooth finished product. Hope this helps.

**Q: How long does it have to dry before recoating?**
A: It  is mainly depending on environmental temperture. Watch the first  coat, when it flashes, it is ready for the next coat. A  little extra wait wont hurt.
