I didn't expect this "voice recorder" to be of much benefit for recording our groups' rehearsals. I got to be right about the internal microphones' sound quality, but started using the Sony ECM-MS907 as an external microphone and am very pleased. It has sufficient memory, but the optional microSD card is convenient. The built-in USB connector is easy to use with my PC for downloading, editing and adding to videos. Battery life is vey good, and it recharges while connected to the USB port. It is compact, sturdy and non-mechanical, and doesn't have some of the problems inherent to minidisks. Review: Can be too handy for words - Lost the first voice recorder when it fell out of my jogging suit while walking along a ridiculous lonely stretch of streetway in Paso Robles. Cell phone gone too. This was a very annoying bummer. Lost the second one then bought another one but found the second one and gave it to this woman around the walkway from me.
