Time consuming. The instructions are very good, however, as I followed them, the top didn't line up and once I put the drawers together, they do not slide in easy and they don't close all the way. I called the company and send them pictures to find out what happened. I get an email saying "the glides are on backwards". There are four sliders. The email didn't help me at all. I even double checked the picture in the manual with my nightstand. It is exactly as pictured. Nothing is backwards. I checked this over 4 times and put it together exactly the way it is in the installation booklet. It does take plenty of time to put together. Comes in a box with about 15 boards and a big bag of hardware. Put aside as least 2-3 hours to do this and good luck if it works for you. For me, it will be too difficult to take apart. I will not bother with this anymore. I canceled my order for the 2nd one. The assembly was fairly easy. Pay attention to the placement and orientation of the drawer rails. It is a nice size. I bought two, one for each side of a queen bed. They look really nice in my guest bedroom. One of the drawer faces did have a small scratch. Not 5 stars though since the drawers are so light weight they bring the overall feeling of quality down a little. A little more weight in the drawers or slides that had some resistance would give the overall product a well balanced solid feel. I'd buy again!
