A few assembly remarks *by O***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2013* I bought this cart to put my microwave on. I have a pretty small kitchen. I have to step outside to change my mind. After reading all the reviews on other kitchen carts about how long and hard they took to assemble I was a bit leery about this. I had it shipped to my office and the two boxes it came in were way too heavy for this boy to lift into my SUV. Now I'll admit I'm not the strongest guy this side of the Mississippi. Ain't like beautiful women come up to me on the beach and ask, uhhh, for my autograph. Be that as it may, when I opened the boxes and took out the various individual parts it was very managable to load into the SUV. This puppy is a breeze to assemble. Took me about 30 minutes or so - all by lil' ol' me alone. The instructions were short and easy to understand. Obviously written by someone whose first language is English. One of the screw holes in one of the legs was probably not quite straight and it became very obvious that I was going to strip the bolt trying to screw it in. As every man knows, darned near anything can be fixed with WD-40, duct tape or a crescent wrench. I decided on WD-40. I sprayed a small amount on the bolt (well away from the table!!), and wiped it off so there wasn't any chance of getting some excess WD-40 on the wood. It went in like a hot knife through warm butter. The casters are another story. I'm used to casters that snap into position with a bit of pressure and stay in. I tried doing that pushing as hard as I could. It became pretty obvious that these casters were not meant to be locked into place. Trying to put them in definitely requires two people just to keep the table steady. As soon as I would lift one side of the table a little to put in a caster, invariably a different one fell out. I did get finally them all in by myself but the table was pretty unstable - to the point of almost falling over several times. Get someone to help you with this just to hold the table steady. However once the casters were in the table was solid as the Rock of Gibraltar. Probably withstand an atomic blast. The wood was without any blemishes. The finished table looks great. At about 37 inches high it is countertop height. It moves around easily on the casters and is not even the least bit unsteady. The top is so nice and smooth that I am hesitant to put on the mineral oil that they recommend. The top looks like the finished surface on a nice piece of furniture. I cannot imagine how the oil would even absorb. In any case, make sure to use the oil that is recommended for butcher block tables like the instructions say. I bought some of that oil here on Amazon. Look for "Howard BBB012 12-Ounce Butcher Block and Cutting Board Oil". I like the natural blonde maple color. Ain't gotta worry about dings standing out like on those with a dark wood stain finish over lighter colored wood. The drawer works fine and complements the overall appearance. The drawer is already built into the top and does not require any separate assembly. Bottom line: This is one helluva nice kitchen cart. I'd say go for it.
