Also, does Amazon carry the "large" version of the "plain"?** A: There is a 90 day manufacturer's warranty. If there is a cracking problem, it may be due to a hairline defect. Please contact us directly- info@achla.com **Q: Does this come with feet?** A: Nope, need to order separately. Be sure to measure your space first before ordering the fireback and/or the feet. They make small feet that fit this one nicely but are bigger than they look on the site. 6 inch depth. **Q: How thick is the fireback? Can you set it on top of the back of the grate (I have 20" height clearance and the grate is 4" high + the 15.5" fireback)?** A: The fireback is about 1/2-5/8" thick. Unless your grate is flat, the dieback will slip down. It needs feet that you can purchase separately, or, as we did, set it up on bricks behind your grate. Hope this helps. **Q: Is it possible to attach to the back of fireplace permanently?** A: It's possible but you'd have to make some sort of brackets. In the thickest areas like around the edges it has built up iron but it is fairly thin anywhere else. Not warping which i guess means it’s thick enough. I don’t really notice a temp difference.
