Designed and sold globally since 1997! Industry leader Sticker Shield is designed for use with car windshield stickers and home stickers to enable easy application, removal and the re-use of stickers from car to car and surface to surface. With Sticker Shield, your windshield sticker looks like it's stuck directly to the glass, yet easily peels off and sticks back on, again and again. This Trademarked, Patented and specially designed film becomes virtually invisible when attached to your new window sticker; it’s undetectable, only you’ll know it’s on your sticker. No more razor blades and adhesive removers to remove old stickers! Sticker Shield prevents adhesive buildup and razor damage to windshields and defroster strips and prevents dangerous sticker blind spots. Sticker Shield allows you to place your sticker as straight and low in the windshield as you want. Works on most all defroster strips and tinted windows. Barcodes are easily readable through Sticker Shield. Sticker Shield is more durable than standard cling film and has a specially designed adhesive surface that easily and cleanly releases when you peel it off. Sticker Shield won’t prematurely curl off glass due to sun and heat like standard cling film does with certain types of stickers. Easy application: Simply adhere your window sticker to the Sticker Shield film, trim around your sticker, peel off backing paper and apply your sticker to the glass. Sticker Shield also works as a screen protector for phones and other electronic gear. Works great on cracked phone screens to help hide cracks and create a safe smooth usable surface. Each pack of Sticker Shield contains two 4 by 6 inch sheets, which yields multiple applications depending on your sticker size. This is the same product sold in major national retail stores. Per your question, Sticker Shield does work with standard stickers that has adhesive on the back, however, due to the many outside elements like rain, snow, carwashes, etc, we do not guarantee Sticker Shield for outside use. However, if you are allowed to mount that same sticker on the inside of the window, you can cut a piece of Sticker Shield about a ½ inch larger than your sticker on all sides and "sandwich" your sticker up on the inside of the car window by using the Sticker Shield film as a surrounding frame. With this application method you won't even have to take the original backing paper off of your permit sticker. Note: you will see a translucent border around the sticker with this application method. We hope that answers your question. Thanks again for your inquiry! Best, Sticker Shield **Q: can I use this on a 16in long decal?** A: You can, however, based on the size of your decal you would have to splice multiple sheets of Sticker Shield together to span the entire 16 inch decal. Sorry, but we currently do not offer our larger size sheets on Amazon. **Q: Has anyone actually tried it on a Sunpass Mini and checked if is reading correctly when going thru tolls?** A: I used this on a Sunpass sticker in a rental car last September in Florida and had no problems with tolls. The sticker was easily removed before returning the rental car. **Q: I have a plastic hang-tag that I want to attach to my windshield. Is the adhesive strong enough to hold something like this?** A: Hello and thanks for your interest in Sticker Shield. Per your question, it depends on the size and weight of your hang tag. Perhaps this example will help you decide: One of our product specialist adheres a full 4x6 inch sheet to his windshield that from that, hangs a plastic toll road transponder from it with absolutely no issue. The transponder / chip reader reads just fine through the Sticker Shield film. Hope that helps!
