**Q: Does heating the product affect its effectiveness?**
A: It wont. But dont use direct heat. You can place the tub to melt the shea butter in a bowl of hot water.

**Q: What are the ingredients?**
A: Shea butter is only yellow at the beginning or the season with young immature nuts. So they have added color. My understanding from previous yellow Shea is that it is a leaf still all natural.

**Q: Is smellgood a black-owned business?**
A: I am trying to find out if the company is Black owned as well. Findings so far are inconclusive so probably no... Thank you for asking too.

**Q: I just ordered this today-So it this going to be in chucks or smooth like it shows in the picture??? i done had this before so I am aware of how it is**
A: It is smooth as shown in the picture, but it is very firm and you must dig with a bit of effort to chunk it out when you are ready to use it. I love this stuff, it is wonderful in soaps.
