Perhaps worth it when on sale, but not at regular price. There were lots of improvements that should have been made and those purchases left me feeling kind of... Meh... about BlissLights and the possibility of buying any other of their products, as I recently noticed that they have made quite a few more kinds of projector light sort of products. I wasn't hugely let down by Sky Lite/2.0, but enough so, especially for the price and the fact that just even a few small changes/feature additions/fixes could have made them infinitely better and more enjoyable, that I just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on any of their other products. However, this product was something I kept eyeing since it was relatively cheap, and by far their cheapest offering. But that also meant that I expected very little from it - I mean, how much do you expect from a little USB powered projector that is <$10? So I kept it in my saved cart items to watch for a sale, or just some random day when I decided to give it a try. And there it sat - I forgot about it even being in there. That is, until desertcart sent me an alert that it was on sale. And sure enough, it was. A few bucks off, in fact. So I immediately pulled the trigger and bought the blue one. It arrived quickly, and I tempered my expectations, especially once I removed it from the package and saw how small it was. I also saw the USB plug it comes with - which, unlike a lot of stuff with the Sky Lites, that little plug "cord" actually was great! It isn't a cord, really - it's a flexible, posable thing... You can move and pose it in any way to perfectly position the projection of the "stars". Not a regular cord that has no rigidity and just hangs... This one can be positioned however you like and it will stay... I'm trying to think of a better way to explain it, but I can't, lol. But the pictures of the product should show you. Anyway, that allowed me to actually plug it directly into the big surge protector that I have mounted on my wall, which has smart USB outlets on it as well (USB outlet that can be turned on or off by Alexa). I then could perfectly position the projector towards the ceiling and opposing wall of my living room. Now, when it said it "fills your whole room", by no means did I expect it to actually do so. Not anywhere close. I didn't expect it to even do maybe but 1/3 of my small apartment living room ceiling - I mean, for its tiny size and tiny price, you gotta have reasonable expectations. So I plugged it in, positioned it, and (by this time, it was after dark) turned out all my lights to see what I was working with. And I was blown away! It did fill the room! And more. I get some of the projection even in my nearby bathroom, into the hallway towards the kitchen, and the stairway wall. But all over the living room ceiling and most of the walls. And, I really want to note that I expected the "stars" to look much worse. From the images, they looked all the same brightness and pretty much in straight rows, like just dots in a row. But in person, it doesn't look like that at all! There's lots of stars that are different degrees of brightness, making the star positioning look more random-ish. It's very bright, but not at all so bright that you can't sleep with it on. It's the perfect nightlight, lol. So, all in all... Very impressed! Especially for the price and very compact size. And also, I actually love that it's USB powered, as you can actually plug it into a power bank if you want to... Could even put it in your car, though it could be a hazard if you don't position it right and the light is in your eyes (or another driver's eyes, yikes lol). Review: Great lights - UPDATE: I ended up getting the part and with good customer service. The email responses they provided were apparently from an unmonitored email address so they were not getting my emails. I do think if you are responding to a customer who emailed from your website, you should be emailing from a good email address that customers can respond to for further help. Once we were finally able to connect, I did receive the part without issue. I do love these lights and the ambiance they create. Updating my review from 1 star. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I'm torn on the number of stars. These lights are great but the company's customer service really needs an overhaul. You'll be happy if you never need to contact them for customer service. This is my experience. For reference, my purchases were December 22, 2019, and January 2, 2020 from desertcart and my recent email message from Bliss customer service was today, January 28th. I purchased 2 of these blue ones at separate times. The bendy things are different and one works better than the other. Another desertcart reviewer said the company sent them a new one with no problem but that is not my experience. I sent a message via their website on January 5th detailing when and where I bought their product and the differences between the 2 bendy things I received with them. (The when and where will be important as you read on.) A gal responded on January 14th asking me to forward receipts to get a replacement started. I'm not going to send a receipt so they can see everything else I bought at the same time so I sent screen shots of my purchases, showing the item, date and how much I paid, and asked if that would suffice. I sent 3 screen shots on the same day i received her email, January 14th. I never received a response. I responded to the email trail again on January 22nd and still no response. I emailed them from the website again yesterday, January 28th, and referenced the previous email conversation that I couldn't get a response to. This time I received a response the next day, the 29th, but the response said since I'm within 30 days of purchase then I should do a return through desertcart. Note that the one I contacted them about is too late to return today, January 28th. ??? I'm confused by their handling of this for at least 3 reasons: 1) The light works fine, it's just the bendy extension thing. 2) I just wanted 2 bendy things that work the same. How do I know which bendy thing the replacement will have? 3) Why on eath didn't she tell me that with her response to my first email via their website because I specified I purchased both of them from desertcart and the dates that I bought them. So instead of making it easy, like for the previous desertcart customer, they would rather I go through the hassle of a return, and then I have no idea which bendy thing will show up on the replacement. For instance my Dodge Ram 1500 has a dedicated power port that works regardless of rather or not the truck is running, in this case if I were to plug my USB laser light into this port, my battery would mostly die overnight. Reference your vehicle's operators manual to find out if your power points stay on or not. Small little USB I plug into my outlet on my nightstand and lights up the whole room. Also have bliss lights sky projector that is similar and rotates the stars but this is my favorite. I love how it’s just the one color of the blue, small and compact and it lights up the whole room and doesnt rotate. Also love that its not on a timer and stays on. With the price, quality and everything I want, I couldnt ask for anything more. The simple stars are perfect and not over doing it like other brands.
