A: If the label is marked for direct thermal, or thermal transfer then you can print.

**Q: Does it include the software, if so which one?**
A: It does come with drivers but you will want to go to Zebra's website and download the latest.  If you mean software to print, you don't need software.  We print labels from office programs, word, excel, or access.  It's a printer, you can print from any program, you just need to configure the layout for the size of label you are printing and just print to it like any other printer.
