Perfect for home bread baking
I've had a bread machine since 2018, and use it every week. Many bread recipes use dry milk, and this Nido brand works great every time. The recipes usually call for nonfat dry milk, but think about it: would nonfat milk of any kind add much flavor to your recipe? Added to that, recipes using liquid milk in baking invariably ask for whole milk.So I put 2 & 2 together and decided to try the Nido. I love it! Nido really enhances the flavor of my breads ... so much richer now, and I'll never use anything else. This is my second purchase. It keeps very well in the pantry, and lasts many months. A 5-star product all the way.

Tasty with added Supplements
This product is tasty, and particularly delicious in coffee. Overall, it is more cost effective than using regular liquid milk, and unlike liquid milk, does not have to be discarded after a particular date and does not have to be kept under refrigeration. The added supplements are a bonus. A much larger container of this is offered on Amazon. The only negative is that it tastes so good, I find myself eating it dry out of the container with a spoon!

AS good as whole milk...seriously!
I was skeptical, but wanted something for my grandkids in storage. I tried it and while its just OK warm, it is fantastic when it is ice cold. I'm a milk aficionado going way back and I love this product. I have no hesitation about using it now and keep multiple cans on hand. It's supposed to last a year, but I have an opened can in the fridge that has been open for over a year and it tastes fine.

experimenting
easy replacement for powdered non-dairy creamer. it occured to me that I had been drinking coffee with fake powdered creamer for 30 yrs, 3-4 cups a day. thats a whole lot of chemical non-food, scared myself.this is the first powered mik I have ever bought. It works great as a replacement. I can kind of taste the canned condensed milk that I loved as a child. but luckily not the sweetness. the only negative is that it leaves a dry scritchy feel on my tongue that the non-dairy doesnt. have ordered another 4-lettered popular brand for comparison - but the real stuff will be my coffee companion from now on.the nido product is made in mexico, which scared me a bit, not knowing their 'fda' regulations, but trust nestle to enforce their own regulations.the other brand is from the netherlands. I like that idea, am sure their regulations are more stringent than ours.

Makes good yogurt
Out of curiosity, I bought this to make Greek yogurt from (using a Cuisinart yogurt maker). It worked quite well. The taste is a little different from other batches I have made (but not in a bad way; every batch I make is a little different from every other batch). From about 1 cup of Nido powder and some starter, I got 613 g of Greek yogurt at the end, which is a pretty good yield.Nido has soy lecithin added; it's not just fortified with vitamins, but also with soy protein. That didn't bother me. I'm not a purist. If you try this, don't forget to scald the milk after you blend it with the water, or you won't get a very good yield. I fermented it 12 hours and then let it cool for several hours.

Ok if you don't mind the inconvenience of mixing
This product is not bad if you prefer powder but I am now comparing it to non-refrigerated Gossner Foods milk I can now get for a $1 each at Dollar Tree stores. This milk is awesome and tastes absolutely wonderful. It comes in a TetraPak that will last for months and much longer if stored properly in a cool environment. So I will no longer buy Nestle Nido as its just not convenient for me and why buy it when I can get superb milk for $1 each that lasts just as long.

handy and tasty
I love throwing this into protein shakes that suggest water only. I throw 2 TBs in addition to the water, protein powder, and any fruit or veg. I also love having this milk in my pantry to use when I'm low or out of regular milk. I usually make golden turmeric milk with this as I like combining the flavors. On its own, it has a mild sweet taste so don't expect it to be a bland or neutral dairy or vegan milk taste. Make it with boiling water and have warm as a tea/hot cocoa/coffee or refrigerate after to drink cold in the morning.
