The chemicals were crystalized through a process of evaporation and then magnified approximately 600 times and photographed through a polarized light microscope which is able to catch light refraction waves similar to the effect that you see when you see the brilliant colors on a soap bubble or on an oil slick.

I had one of these for at least 10+ years and recently the slide of the Dopamine was lost.  I am disheartened and would love a replacement! I hope I can find this elsewhere, OR you and the company Anatomology would bring this back in stock!!! It was  a great weight for keychain and always an excellent conversation starter.
