They don't have an adjustment to spread at the toe but other than that, they are solid cedar besides the spring which seems to be well made, it springs and isn't too taught or loose. Looking at other options the only differences I'm noticing are the toe spread and a better shade/color of wood. They will be in shoes, I'm going to need to be much much richer to start caring about how things look that are hidden from view as a part of their function lol.
